Karen Murphy
Since founding Flex Execs in 1990 with partner Kris Swanson, Karen has overseen all recruiting activities for the firm and its clients. Karen believes in integrity and focuses on customer solutions. She works closely with their clients and employees in developing strong relationships which are the basis for their long-term success.

Together with Karen Murphy, Kris founded Flex Execs in 1990 to help area companies find specialized mid- to senior-level talent for short-term needs and projects. Since its founding, Flex Execs has successfully completed thousands of projects for hundreds of clients in the Chicago area and around the US. The values of integrity and focus on service are what drive Kris and Flex Execs to consistent success.

After more than two decades with Flex Execs, Lida has developed deep expertise across all aspects of staffing and recruiting. She is a go-to expert and mentor within the company when it comes to best practices and industry knowledge and has been a core contributor to the company’s success over the years.

Angie transitioned seamlessly from early childhood development and social work to recruiting at Flex Execs in 2019. By creating tailored goals and efficiently connecting clients and candidates, Angie has significantly contributed to the success of the woman-owned staffing firm.

After earning a Bachelor’s in psychology in 2015, Alison leveraged her passion for understanding people as a tool to excel in the staffing industry.
